  Too many people are killed and seriously injured in preventable accidents. At RoSPA, we remember that every accident "statistic" represents a real person - a life lost or affected, often severely - and a family left enduring the consequences. Everything we do, therefore, is focused on preventing this unnecessary suffering. 

The HSE's work covers a varied range of activities; from shaping and reviewing regulations, producing research and statistics and enforcing the law. 

 The Association of First Aiders – AoFA is an association formed out of the membership of the First Aid Cafe website, UK’s largest independent community of over 14,000 first aiders and first aid trainers.  

The Institute of Industrial Accident Investigators

An Independent Research Institute providing recognition, professional qualification and support to industrial accident investigators world-wide. With an International Membership and a presence spanning four decades.

OSHCR was established in response to the Government’s Common Sense, Common Safety report, which recommended that all Health and Safety consultants should be accredited to a professional body and that a register of certified professionals be established in the form of a web-based directory. The register aims to assist businesses in finding advice on general health and safety management.
